About Us

Spot on HIStories was born out of a deep passion for history and storytelling. We believe that history comes to life by telling stories at the places where it actually took place.

Spot on HIStories was founded by Roel Linn. Roel studied History at Leiden University and has worked for many years as a communication professional at the Dutch government. Additionally, Roel brings unique expertise as a certified first-degree History teacher. His tireless enthusiasm for the subject and a chance opportunity to work as a volunteer guide at the 'DOMunder' Foundation further fueled his fascination with the history of Utrecht. This passion and the desire to share it ultimately led to the development of the first historical walks.
